Breath

Breath warmly leaves my body

Joining the vast universe beyond,

Calm feelings of inner peace

Gently flow into my heart.

The breath like spirit going forth

To seek the Source with full presence,

Source that nourishes all that’s here

And marks the core of who we are.

Without the Source no universe

In which to live with playful joy,

Love would not expression find

And beings would not yet appear.

The silent beauty of the universe

Grand gift from the Source of all,

Celebrated with all its wonder

In each breath that beings take
